Intermediate-to-Advanced VO classes are offered on:

TUESDAYS - 7:30PM-9:30PM CST​​

 

These classes are appropriate for intermediate-to-advanced VO artists, and will be adjusted to the level of each person who is in the class! You can take for one month, or as most of our students do, on-going. Would love to have you with us!

TECHNICAL POLISH – Improve the clarity, tone, and consistency of your MP3 auditions with simple adjustments that elevate your sound.

ENGINEER FEEDBACK (WEEK 4) – A special bonus session with Jeff Wright, a 30-year industry engineer, providing individualized critiques of each student’s home studio and audio quality.

​ADVANCED SCRIPT ANALYSIS – Break down commercial, animation and narration copy with deeper emotional specificity, audience focus, and tonal accuracy.

BOOKABLE CHOICES – Elevate your reads with stronger emotional intention, specificity, point of view, stakes, and tonal clarity.

ADVANCED SCRIPT BREAKDOWN – Learn high-level commercial and animation analysis: identifying tone lanes, mapping audience, and shaping contrast within your takes.

​

MEANINGFUL ALTS – Create alternate takes that demonstrate range without feeling forced or repetitive (critical for competitive submissions).

​

SELF-DIRECTION MASTERY – Strengthen your ability to assess your own reads objectively, make fast adjustments, and deliver auditions that feel confident and intentional.

​

COMMERCIAL AUDITION ROUNDS – Weekly assigned scripts, student submissions, peer ranking, and instructor critique focusing on authenticity, tone, pacing, and clarity.

​

ANIMATION AUDITION ROUNDS – Character energy, vocal texture, size, emotional dynamics, and specificity. Learn to make bold choices that still feel grounded and bookable.

CALLBACK-LEVEL SKILLS – Learn how to take live direction like a working pro, adapt quickly, and deliver adjustments with precision.

​

PERFORMANCE RELIABILITY – Improve consistency, stamina, mic presence, and the ability to reproduce strong takes under pressure.
